My last day in Ao Nang, Thailand

Our last day in Ao Nang. Well, the day tour came to an end and after spending a bit more time around the islands and jungle we returned to Ao Nang. Spent the evening walking around the beach and as always looking for places to eat.

This was our last day in Ao Nang and surely a place we will miss. Just as I am writing this, I am having flash backs from this place, realizing that investing Β in a day trip as such, is a much more memorable and valuable experience, than spending a day on any beautiful white sand beach.

Probably it is just the way I am, I enjoy more hiking a mountain, exploring new places or going on an adventure just like this day trip, instead of relaxing on the beach. I could do that too, but not too long, cause my mind is always thinking of doing something new…I just need to be active.

I am curious, who is following my adventure and enjoying reading about my experience. Leave me a comment guys, lift a hand… come on πŸ™‚

Our 4th Day in Thailand will be in Phuket, another popular Island in the Andaman sea.

Stay close because shortly I will get back to you with another adventure.

The Best of Thailand

It’s funny how at the beginning of this year I said to myself I will travel less this year and still ended up having an 8 day trip in Thailand. I haven’t even properly recovered from the jet lag and I am already dreaming about my next trip to visit another corner of this world.

Can someone pay me to travel? Wouldn’t that be the perfect job?

I just returned from an 8 day trip in Thailand. Went with my buddy Ciprian and had a wonderful time. Stayed 4 days in Bangkok, visited the temples, Chinatown, old town, new town and the crazy night life.

I also managed to catch up with some great friends whom I haven’t seen in a long long time, so it was good to catch up with everything that happened lately in our life.

Beside the temples and the cities great vibe, I experienced the most amazing foods I ever tasted, green curry, pad thai, amazing snacks like deep fried shrimps and crabs and some crazy ones like scorpions, grass hoppers and crickets.

I’m glad I was able to visit the south as well and had a great weather considering the horrible forecast. Spent 2 days in Ao Nang, living in the jungle and visiting Hong Island and the nearby places.

After Ao Nang we took a fairy boat and crossed the Andaman Sea to Phuket and stayed at Patong beach. Really enjoyed going with the motorbike up to the mountain and into the jungle spending one day with the elephants at Phuket’s Elephant Sanctuary.

On the way back to England we had a 12 hours layover in Amsterdam, so we decided to go out into the city and explore the great architecture, food, canals and by default Red light district πŸ™‚

Here is just a short video about the best of Thailand, but stay tuned as I will post one or more vlogs about each day I spent there.
